gray day

today i awoke to the most delightful gray sky and windy day. thank you Lord, autumn is coming.

the last few weeks my family has been helping my great aunt fix up her rental house. yesterday i was there and snapped some photos. here's a few, i'll post more tonight.

i'm submitting this photo that i took when we were on the road almost everyday a few weeks ago. we love driving home "the back way" through all the lovely farm land.

so here it is, a picture of one of my mom's Urban Outfitters bird lamps. yes, one of them. she has three. but that is a story for another time... :)
